Horse- and Cattle-Stealing.

Supposed stolen during the night of the 14th ultimo, from a paddock at Napier, a bay mare, pony-breed, six years old, about fourteen hands high, branded AR on one of shoulders ; the property of Thomas Taylor; value £ll. Identifiable.

Supposed stolen in June last, from Coromandel, a very strong black saddle-gelding, seven years old, sixteen hands high, no visible brands, very heavy mane and tail, carries his head low when cantering; no visible brands; the property of James Gilmour; value £ls. Identifiable.

On the Bth instant, at Marohiti, near Normanby, a calf, value £1 10s., the property of John Scott Caverhill, was wounded on the head with large gun-shot pellets, supposed with intent to steal the carcase. The calf was so badly wounded that it had to be killed.
