Stolen about the 28th ultimo, from a paddock at Hobson Street, Wellington, a grey-ponv gelding, aged, about 14 hands high, hind legs bandy and unusually thick, unbranded; the property of A. de B. Brandon; value £9. Identifiable.

The warrant issued against John Jenkins, alias James Wylie, alias C. Carey, alias Kelly, for stealing a horse at Parawai, Thames, the property of Thomas Veale, has been cancelled.

The pony, the property of James Marshall, stolen from Parawai, has been recovered, and James Wylie, alias John Jenkins, alias C. Carey, &c., committed for trial for the offence.
Supposed stolen between the 17th and 23rd ultimo, from Forbury Hill, Caversham, a black buggy-horse with white star on forehead, aged, about 15£ hands high, branded > <; on near shoulder, tail cut squai’e ; the property of Dr. Frederick C. Batchelor; value £l2. Identifiable.
