Inquest.
An inquest was held on the 14th ultimo, at the Royal Hotel, Rangiriri, Auckland, by B. C. Beale, Esq., Coroner, on the body of a man, name unknown, who was drowned in the Rangiriri River on the 10th ultimo. Verdict: “Accidentally drowned.” Description : About sixty-five years of age, 5 feet 8 inches high, blue eyes, grey hair, very grey whiskers, bald on top of head; had on an old black coat, dark trousers, an elastic-side boot and a shoe. He came along the railway-line from the direction of Huntly.
