Missing Friends.
Information is requested respecting the whereabouts of Thomas Shanahan, a native of Ireland, a labourer, twenty-four years of age, 5 feet 8 inches high, stout build, fair complexion, blue eyes, sandy whiskers and moustache. He arrived at Port Ahuriri by the ship “Waitara” in December, 1876. He left Wanstead about May, 1880, and came in the direction of Wellington. His parents live at Napier.
Information is requested respecting the whereabouts of Peter Miller, a native of Denmark, a garderner, forty-eight years of age, 5 feet 10 inches high, medium build, fair complexion, full light beard, whiskers, and moustache. He was heard of at Wellington about eight years ago. His wife is cohabiting with a man at Dunedin. Inquiry is made for him at the request of his daughter, Caroline Miller, Wellington.
Information is requested respecting the whereabouts of Alfred Wilson, a native of London, a labourer, thirty-five years of age, 5 feet 6 inches high, stout build, fair complexion. He served in the Ist Waikato Regiment, and was heard of at Wellington in 1868. Inquiry is made for him at the request of Major-General Dean Pitt, C. 8., United Service Club, Pall Mall, London,
