Deserters from Merchant Vessels.

H. Wiuff, Thomas Johnson, John Henriekson, Charles Aspland, Hannon Writisschunskv, William Blanket, M. Anderson, and Henry Weirs are charged with deserting from the si tip “Padishah,” at Port Chalmers, on the 25th ultimo. Description : Wiuff is tw’enty-four years of age, 5 feet 7 inches high, medium build, fair hair, very little hair on face ; dressed in tw’eed worsted dungaree juniper and trousers. Johnson is a Swede, twenty-five years of age, 5 feet 8 inches high, stout build, dark hair and moustache; dressed in brown-tweed suit and b ack-felt hat. Henriekson is twenty-four years of age, 6 feet high, stout build, pug nose, no hair on face. Aspland is twenty-eight years of age, 5 feet 6 inches high, medium build, dark hair, beard, and moustache, worn short; dressed in bluecloth jacket, dnrk-tweed trousers, and black-felt hat. Writisschunsky is a German, twenty-eight years of age, 5 feet 9 inches high, medium build, brown hair, beard, whiskers, and moustache, worn short. Blacket is a German, twenty-two years of age, 5 feet 7 inches high, medium build, hair worn short, no hair on face; dressed in blue jacket, dark-tweed trousers, and black-felt hat. Anderson is twenty-eight years of age, 5 feet 7 inches high, medium build, sharp features, long nose, sandy hair, no hair on face. Weirs is a German, thirty years of age, 5 feet 6 inches high, medium build, brown hair, beard, and moustache; dressed in blue coat, brown trousers, and blackfelt hat. A reward of 10s. each is offered for their arrest.
