The sum of £8 has been awarded to Sergeant Maurice Ready, Wellington Police, for the arrest of Llewellyn Kidd, who deserted from H.M.S. “ Emerald,” at Wellington, on the 9th of April last.

The sum of £2 each has been awarded from the Reward Fund to Sergeant Donald Boyd and Constables John Buchanan and Henry Fretwell, Invercargill and Mataura Police, in recognition of zeal and ability shown by them in the arrest of four seamen charged with riotous and disorderly conduct at Campbelltown on the night of the 12th of April last.
