[From the Alexander Turnbull Library photographic collection. This view of Dunedin from Little Paisley in the 1850's is one of the earliest pictures of the Otago settlement in existence. The locality was called Little Paisley by some immigrants who came from the town <of that name in Scotland, where they had been weavers.
