EGYPTIAN PHOSPHATE PROPERTY FOR SALE. Noticing the attention now being given in New Zealand to Egyptian phosphate, Messrs. E. W. Morgan and Co. (Limited), of 3 Fenchurch Buildings,. Fenchurch Street, London E.C., have informed the- High Commissioner that they have a phosphate property in Egypt which they are willing to sell. ..Particulars are-given by the firm as follows : ” • ■ : " '> ' ' ■ “ Jebel Duwi, where thejprOperty- is situated/ is nine miles and a half from the Port of Kosseir, thirty-one miles south of Safaga Bay. The phosphate-bed is 590 ft. above sea-level, with easy gradient to the Port of Kosseir, where we have license from the Egyptian Government for shipping facilities. The working-costs are light. . Our.engineer.. estimates the. probable amount of mineral on our area at two and- a half, million tons, and 'the result, of Dr. Dyer’s analysis showed tribasic phosphate at 69-05 to 69-75 per cent.
