RANGITIKEI RACING CLUB.

Nominations for all events to be decided at the Rangitikei Racing Club’s annual meeting on March 26 and 27 are due with the secretary, Mr. H. A. Goodall, on Tuesday evening next (February 25) at 9 o’clock. This two days’ gathering promises to be the most successful the club has experienced, the handsome stakes offered having attracted the special notice of owners, who are certain to extend the fixture their widest patronage. The Rangitikei Cup (open), of 400sovs. and a silver cup valued at 40sovs., 1% miles, is the leading attraction on the opening day, while chief interest on the second day will be centred in the Fraser Memorial Stakes (open), of 300sovs., one mile and a distance. That there will be good fields on hand to contest the two above-named handicaps appears certain, and with a number of sprint, hack, welter and hurdle events to be decided on each day of the fixture some real good sport is promised those who contemplate paying a visit to the Bulls racecourse on the 26th and 27th of next month.
