Mr. E. J. Gravestock, manager for Messrs. J. and N. Tait, arrived from Sydney on Monday by the R.M.S. Makura to arrange for Mr. Ashmead Bartlett’s New Zealand tour, which opens in Wellington on April 13th. Mr. Ashmead Bartlett’s Australian tour has, Mr. Gravestock reports, been a remarkable success, and everywhere the famous war correspondent has been feted by all kinds of public and private associations, who have teen anxious to show their gratitude and appreciation of the work done by Mr. Ashmead Bartlett in his position as official representative of the British press at the Dardanelles, in placing the wonderful doings of the Australian and New Zealand troops before the world in such a brilliant fashion, as he did in his memorable despatches.
