GLOBE THEATRE.
A thrilling story is unfolded in “Trapped,” the star feature of Monday’s change of programme at the Globe Theatre. It concerns a girl of doubtful morals who turns to the path of rectitude, and in meeting with an accident is befriended by the hospital doctor. A former comrade of the girl’s escapes from gaol and enters the doctor’s house. He is pursued by detectives and meets his death. A sensational motor car accident is only one of a series of thrills, in which the villain is trapped in an engine tender and suffers a terrible death. The Maori Regatta Carnival at Ngaruawah'a is presented in several fine views that are highly xpproved. Pictures showing phases of the pipe industry, a stirring drama of love and adventure entitled “Broncho Bill’s Ward,” and a set of laughable comics make a visit to the Globe worth while-
