Mr. George Cross, one of the bestknown actors in Australia and New Zealand, does nothing without being thorough, and takes for his motto. “Ne Tentes Aut Perfice” (Attempt not or Accomplish Perfectly). His dressing of his parts on the stage are always a credit to himself and a pleasure to his management. Mr. Cross, as Jack Cunningham in “The Beggar Girl’s Wedding,” is a case in point in which he gets every ounce out of the part. “The Beggar Girl’s Wedding” will be presented at His Majesty’s Theatre, Auckland, shortly under George Willoughby, Limited.
