OPERA HOUSE.
return of the banzais. Messrs- Brennan-Fuller are giving vaudeville patrons full measure, pressed down and running over in their current programme. And the public are reciprocating. Topping the star items are the Royal Banzai Family, who have been piling up successes in the Dominion since they Were here last with their marvellous acrobatic act. They perform bloodcurdling feats with an l ease that conceals the danger, and they combine daring with novelty. They are equilibrist's, contortionists and pole-walkers extraordinary, and they receive a tornado of applause at the conclusion of their clever turn. Gorgeous stage setting is a feature of their act. Following the Banzais closely in interest and sensation come the Rosa Va'erio Sextette, who give a remarkable wirewalking exhibition. They have brought it to a fine art, and are quite at home in their restricted promenade, ’j'beir turn goes with a great swing,
and is one of the most popular yet seen at the Opera House. The Georgia Trio are a merry band of singing and talking comedians, who have the house in an uproar from the start. Their success is also assured. The Malagas, Spanish dancers, are
likewise numbered amongst the topnotcher acts, their characteristic dancing placing them in high favour. Fern and Lizette are two attractive ladies, whose musical turn and charm of manner take the audience at once. Kingsley and Graham also give a re-
fined musical turn, which goes well, the song “Mary” being particularly pleasing. Miss Millie Doris, a comedienne, made her re-appearance after a tour of South Africa, and the remainder of tne programme is contiibuted to by George Rowley (the Fashion Plate dancer), the Phillip Sisters, the Strattons, and Tom Leonard. Altogether it is a. bill guaranteed to make good even with non-vaudeviile goers.
