ENGLISH RACING RESULT OF THE CITY AND SUBURBAN HANDICAP. TRAFALGAR WINS THE A.J.C. PLATE. The A.J.C. Autumn Meeting was brought to a conclusion at Randwick on Saturday. The weather was fine, and there was a large. attendance. The field for the A.J.C. Plate was reduced to a quartette, and with Comedy King and Alawa off the scene, the long distance weight-for-age event was robbed of much interest. Trafalgar answered all demands in a fast run race, and cheering ensued. In the decision of the Final Handicap the New Zealand-bred Broadsword made a bold bid for victory under 9.0; but in a fast race he had to strike his colours to the lightweight Reg. . : The following are the details of the racing:— THE ROUS HANDICAP, a handicap sweepstakes of lOsovs each, .with 500 sovs added. At the half distance St. Mtedoc worked his way into the lead, and finishing well won comfortably by a neck from Borrosov, who beat respect a neck for second honours. Broadsword was most prominent into the straight. Reg shot out below the St. Leger stand, and in a great race home beat the New Zealand horse by half a length, with Chaste close up, third.
