THE OPERA HOUSE.

FULLER'S WORLD-WIDE PICTURES During the Easter holidays the Opera House has been crowded to overflowing each night with amusement seekers, and the excellent pictorial programme presented by Messrs. Fuller fully warrants the large audiences. Every week Opera House patrons are treated to a new series of films, the enterprising management securing all the latest and best films obtainable. An exceedingly fine film shown is that entitled “Normanby Butter,” being a highly instructive illustration of the dairying industry. This film, which is a beautifully coloured one, shows work on the farm in full swing. A dramatic film of special merit is that ot “On the Border,” depicting some stirring incidents in Mexico in the early sixties. Two powerful dramatic films which appeal to the audience are “The House of Cards” and “A Son’s Forgiveness,” both being good examples of the lessons of life. An intensely interesting picture is that showing the life and customs of the Arab. “The Dance of Fire” is a film which thrills the audience, while “The Grandfather’s Story” is the title of a picture of more than ordinary interest. “In Little Italy” is the title of a film depicting the affairs of a persistent lover, and is of strong dramatic interest. The humorous films shown are of a very mirth-provoking character, “ Novel Navigation,” “A Good Lesson” and “The Short-sighted Sportsman,” being a trio which are productive of no end of merriment. Mr. E. J. Burke’s orchestra enlivens the entertainment with a number of first-rate selections, which greatly delight the audience.
