At the second day of the Kumara Club’s meeting, the sum of £2135 passed through the machine, making £5089 for the two days, a record for Kumara. The Patea Racing Club’s Easter meeting was very successful. There was fine weather, a record attendance, and large fields. The sum of £5713 was put through the totalisator.
