The following were the results of the Kumara Racing Club’s races on Monday:— TRIAL STAKES.—North Pole 1, Mangrove 2. Hillspring 3. FLYING HANDICAP.—Jennie Colleen 1, Vologda 2, Mont d’Or 3. TROTTING HANDICAP.—Security 1, Garret 2, Roosevelt 3. KUMARA HANDICAP.—King Try 1, The Orient 2, First View 3. DILLMAN’S HANDICAP.—Ito 1, Blessbok 2, Love Wisely 3. KUMARA TROTTING HANDICAP.— Possum 1, Rosamond 2, Dunollie 3. WESTBROOK WELTER HANDICAP. —First View 1, Fandango 2, Hillspring 3. SECOND DAY. At the second day of the Kumara Club’s meeting, the sum of £2135 passed through the machine, making £5089 for the two days, a record for Kumara. Time, 3m. 13 3-ss. MINERS’ PURS®, one mile. — North Pole, 10.2, 1; The Orient, 7.11, 2; Awha, 7.9, 3. Time, Im. 47 3-ss. GREENSTONE HANDICAP, six furlongs.—Blessbok, 7.10, 1; Platinum, 8.9, 2. FAREWELL HANDICAP, five furlongs and a-half.—Platinum, 7.9, 1; Miss Gift, 7.11, 2; Coxswain, 8.6, 3. Time, lm. 15 2-ss. BATEA RACING CLUB’S MEETING. The Patea Racing Club’s Easter meeting was very successful. There was fine weather, a record attendance, and large fields. The sum of £5713 was put through the totalisator.
