PONY MEETING AT MIRAMAR.
The Wellington Pony and Galloway Racing Club held a meeting at Miramar on Saturday. There was only a moderate attendance. The results were:— POIN.EKE HANDICAP of 20sovs, four furlongs.—Huia, 9.13, 1; Axite, 10.2, 2; Tobias, 8.4, 3. Three others started. Won by 'half-a-length. Time, 54 l-ss. TRIAL HANDICAP of 20sovs, four furlongs and a-half.—Merrimanu, 9.6, 1; Inkerman, 8.4, 2; Muskerado, 9.11, 3. Six others started. Won easily. Time, 59 l-ss. ST. PATRICK’S HANDICAP of 35sovs, six furlongs.—Lurline, 9.10, 1; st. Helena, 8.8, 2; Moata, 9.11, 3. Two others started. Won by two lengths. Time, lm. 18 3-ss. MEILROSE HANDICAP of 20SOVS, five furlongs and a-.half.—Miss Ivy, 8.8, 1; Emma, 9.6, 2; Muskerado, 10.4, 3. Four others started. Won by two lengths and a-half. Time, lm. 13 l-ss. TELEGRAPH HANDICAP of 25sovs, four furlongs and a-half.—Ora Pinsent, 10.12, 1; Mermaid, 9.7, 2; St. Helena, 8.10, 3. Seven others started. Won by three lengths. Time, 595.
