DUNEDIN JOCKEY CLUB’S AUTUMN MEETING.

FIRST DAY. The Dunedin Jockey Club’s Autumn Meeting was commenced at Wingatui on Wednesday in splendid weather. The amount put through the totalisator was £7643 10s, as against £8271 for the corresponding day of last year. Twentytwo bookmakers paid a fee of £2O for the privilege of betting.
