THE OTAHUHU TROTTING CLUB’S SUMMER MEETING.

Next Saturday the Otahuhu Trotting Club will make a commencement with the summer meeting. The acceptances for the various events are very numerous, and include most of the best trotters in the district. Under the circumstances it may be expected that there will be a good attendance, as the prospect for a nice afternoon sport is of the best. In the Maiden Trot 16 are engaged, in the Pony Trot 11, Pony Cup 6, Otahuhu Trotting Cup 9, Sylvia Park Trot 13, Class Trot 8, Flying Stakes 10, and Electric Trot 15. The Electric Tramway Company will run a special service in addition to their ordinary cars, so no difficulty will be experienced in getting to Alexandra Park. Mr. F. Yonge, the able secretary, may be expected to have all arrangements for the comofrt of visitors properly attended to, and everything in trim for a well conducted meeting. The first event ic timed to commence at 1.15 p.m.
