PATEA RACING CLUB.

The annual meeting -(for hacks only) of the Patea Racing Club will take place on Easter Monday, April 1. For this an excellent programme has been arranged, particulars of which will be found in this issue. The items are as follows: —The Hurdles, of 70sovs, 1% miles; the Flying Handicap of 80sovs, 6 furlongs; the Farmers’ Plate of 5 Oso vs, one mile; the Patea Easter Handicap of 100sovs, 1% miles; the Kakaramea Stakes of 55sovs, 4% furlongs; the Borough Stakes of 60sovs, 7 furlongs; the Alton High Weight Handicap of SOsovs., one mile; and the Final Stake of 55sovs, 4% furlongs. This makes an attractive list well worth the attention of owners. Nominations close with Mr. R. W. Hamerton, the secretary, on Monday, March 11, at 8 pm., except for the Farmers’ Plate and Final Stake, which close on March 25.
