PROCURING LIQUOR.

At the Thames Police Court last week, Sergeant Darby prosecuting, Andrew Neill, for securing liquor for a prohibited person, was fined 20s and costs or 48 hours. John a prohibited person, for inducing Neill to procuer liquor, and being found drunk, was fined £5 or one month’s imprisonment. In two other cases nominal fines were imposed. The police are active in suppressing offences against the Licensing Act.
