George Gillet will be an absentee from the Karangahake team this season. Cunningham, the Thames forward who played in the Auckland reps, last season, is to play for Waitekauri this season. dity will have a very strong back team this season, and should prove a hard nut to crack when the Cup matches come up for decision. The iorward team which City will put in the field this season will be almost the same as last, the only change being the inclusion of Sid. Brown, an old rep. man and City player. A match between the Sydenham and Dunedin Clubs took place on the Caledonian Grounds, Dunedin, on Saturday las’, and resulted in a win for the visitors by 7 points to 3. There was a fair attendance. During the first spell McKenzie scored a try for the local tean , but the score was not advanced.
