THE CALEDONIAN SPORTS.
We are requested to draw attention to the fact that the inauguration of the New Year will be celebrated by the Auckland Caledonian Society with sports in the Domain Cricket Ground. The programme this year is an interesting one, and consists of thirty-four events. All entries for handicap events must be sent in not later than 9 o’clock on Saturday night next, and the handicaps are promised for the following Saturday. The amateur events will be competed for under the rules of the N.Z.A.A.A. and N.Z. Cyclists’ Alliance.
