NORTH SHORE AMATEUR CARNIVAL.
On Saturday next the North Shore Amateur Athletic and Cycle Club will hold their athletic carnival on the Devonport Domain. Given fine weather, I quite expect to see a large attendance, as the club has rapidly grown into popularity, and deservedly so, for its meetings are always well conducted. The events are well represented so far as competitors are concerned, and some of the best talent is engaged, so that the visiting public may depend on a good afternoon’s sport. In addition to this they have a pleasant run across and back in the ferry boat thrown in for their shilling.
