Dilemma has again met with ill-luck (writes “Mazeppa.”) He somehow struck one of his forelegs when doing a gallop, and a tendon became injured, with the result that the horse had to be taken off work just at a time when his trainer was beginning to fancy that he might have a say in one of the races at the May meeting. That settles his hash for the season, and we shall see no more of him till the spring. By that time it is to be hoped he will be ready for another shy at the New Zealand Cup.
