Manawatu Racing Club’s Autumn Meeting.

(BY WIRE —OUR OWN CORRESPONDENT.) Palmerston North, Wednesday. The Manawatu Racing Club commenced their Autumn Meeting to-day. The attendance was small, owing, no doubt, to the weather, which was showery. In the Hack Hurdles a few spills occurred, the worst accident being that to George Laing, who was riding Potango. As far as is known he has several ribs broken, besides being injured in the spine.
