Takapuna Jockey Club’s Summer. For this Club’s Summer Meeting, on the 28th and 30th inst., the following acceptances close at 9 p.m. to-morrow, the 20th inst.: — Handicap Maiden Plate of 30 sovs, 1 mile, 1 sov. Handicap Hurdles of 70 sovs, 2 miles, 2 sovs. Zealandia Handicap of 50 sovs, 5 furlongs, 1 sov. Takapuna Cup of 200 sovs., miles, 1 sov. Calliope Handicap of 70 sovs, 6 furlongs, 2 sovs. Handicap Maiden Steeplechase of 50 sovs, about 3 miles, 1 sov. Borough Handicap of 30 sovs, 6 furlongs, 1 sov. Stewards’ Handicap of 65 sovs, 6J furlongs, 2 sovs. Takapuna Stakes of 100 sovs., for three-year-olds, 1 mile, If furlongs, 2 sovs. Handicap Steeplechase of 150 sovs., about 31 miles, 1 sov. Nominations of 1 sov., are also due for the Selling Race of 30 sovs, 6 furlongs. The full programme is advertised in another column.

Dunedin Jockey Club’s Autumn. The following acceptances for this meeting are due by 10 o’clock to-night, the 19th inst, with the secretary, Mr Sydney James: — Dunedin Cup of 600 sovs, 2 miles and a distance, 3 sovs. Publicans’ Handicap of 200 sovs, 7 furlongs, 2 sovs The following nominations are due at the same time : — Hurdle Handicap of 80 sovs, 1£ miles, 1 sov. Tallyho Handicap of 90 sovs, 2 miles, 1 sov. Hurdle Handicap of 100 sovs, 2f miles, 1 sov. Stewards’ Purse Welter Handicap of 100 sovs, 6 furlongs, 1 sov. Egmont Racing Club. The undermentioned nominations in connection with this Club’s Summer Meeting, are due on Tuesday next, the 24th inst, by 9 p.m.: — Sapling Stakes of 60 sovs., 6 furlongs, for two-year-olds, 2 sovs. Nursery Handicap of 50 sovs., for two-year-olds, 5 furlongs, 1 sov. First Handicap Hack Hurdles of 35 sovs., If mile, 1 sov. Second Handicap Hack Hurdles of 35 sovs., 1J miles, 1 sov. First Handicap Hack Flat Race of 40 sovs., 1 mile, 1 sov. Second Handicap Hack Flat Race of 40 sovs., 1J miles, 1 sov. Nominations will be received by Mr A. T. Danvers, of Napier, and Mr H. H. Hayr, Sporting Review office, or Tattersail’s Club, Auckland, as well as by the secretary of the Club. Owners are reminded that the Telegraph Office at Hawera closes at 5 p.m. Wellington Cup. The final payment of 5 sovs for the Wellington Cup is due to-morrow, the 20th inst, at 9 p.m. Otahuhu Trotting Club. For this Club’s Summer Meeting on the zoth inst nominations close as under „ with the secretary at Otahuhu or at Mr W.
