May 31. Dance. The Marlborough Golf Club held their annual ball in St. Patrick’s Hall last Thursday evening. The hall was beautifully deeorated with festoons of lycopodium and chrysanthemums; mirrors also banked the walls. Excellent music was rendered by Perry’s orchestra. Golf. On Saturday 3 very pleasant afternoon was spent on the Wither golf links, it being lady’s first medal day, which was won by Mrs J. Maclaine.
