January 18. Tennis Tournament—The Opening Day. The Taranaki Association’s annual championship and handicap tournament was favoured with glorious weather on the opening day last Thursday on the Weed End courts, and the greatest of credit is due to the joint secretaries, Messrs Stocker and C. Webster, for the way in which everything was carried out.
