The second annual show of the Te Kuiti I h»rt icult ur <1 Society brought lort'i a good Esplay of blooms, the sweet peas being specially goo;!. .Roses ware not so good as la-t year, as the season was an early one and the best blooms were over. A feature of the -’how was the exhibit of carnations and sweet peas entered by Mr H. Brett, of Auckland. The carna tiers were a revelation to local growers, ami the -weet pea exhibit (Barbara). a recent imp nation from England, w it. very much admired. A general collec lion shown by Miss Franklin was well staged an 1 looked very attractive. A bowl of English hoiie\ -uckle. exhibit I by Mr Lissamin. was also much ad min I. Mr W . E.
