CAMBRIDGE.
The return inter-club match with Hamilton was played last week in favourable weather, and again the Hamilton players were victorious, winning by 44 games to 34 games. The individual matches are as follows, Hamilton players being mentioned first: — H. T. Gillies beat A. H. Nieoll, 3 and 2; F. Seifert lost to R. Muir, 3 and 1; F. Winter beat J. Banks, 2 and 1; F. Benni, beat N. Banks, 4 and 3; J. H. Hume lost to T. Middleton. 6 and 5; R. L. Miller beat M. Wells, 1 up; A. C. Cavanagh and C. W. Mcßride, all square; H. J. Dodson lost to S. Dunbar. 4 and 2.
The semi finals of the club championship resulted as follow:—R. Muir beat J. Banks. 4 and 3-—this also included a ladder match; and N. Banks beat E. J. Wilkinson, 3 and 2. The final will be played off between Muir and Banks over 27 holes.
