FEILDING.

Aiilgust Mk Plain and Fancy Dress Ball. One of the most successful balls of the season was given by a committee of ladies representing the country districts. The ball was plain and fancy dress. The Drill Half was used for the occasion, and no time or expense had been spared in making it suitable for dancing. The. hall was beautifully decorated with fans, Chinese lanterns, and greenery. A delicious supper was laid on the stage; the tables being tastefully decorated with cherry blossom.
