See “The Week in Review.” DIED AT VANCOUVER—THE LATE MR. J. KIRKER. News was received on Saturday of the death of Mr. James Kirker, general manager of the South British Insurance Company, which took place at Vancouver. Mr. Kirker was born in Belfast on May 17, 1857, and was only 33 years of age when called upon to undertake the duties of the position that for the past 20 years he so ably and successfully filled.
