October 25. ixaruea Party. A largo garden party was given by tlie Bishop of Nelson and Mrs Mules, in the beautiful grounds of Bishopdale, last Saturday. The guests were invited to meet the members of the Diocesan Synod, and as the weather was perfect a very enjoyable trine was spent by all. The .Bishop and Mrs Mules, who have recovered from their carriage accident, received the visitors on the lawn in front of the house.
