CLARK—COX. 67 T N exceedingly pretty wedding was g | solemnised in St. Paul’s \\’v> ley an (hnrcli, Cambridge, on Wednesday afternoon, the con trading parties being Miss Alice M. Clark, youngest daughter of Mr G. E. Clark, a very old resident of Cambridge, and Mr. A. M. Cox. eldest son of Mr. E. B. Cox, of Roto-o-rangi. the officiating clergyman being the Rev. W’. Tinsley. The bride looked charming as she entered the church on the arm of her father, her dress bring a lovely white Duchess 'satin, made on Princess, with a tunic and square train edged with a deep white silk fringe and beading; the bodice was the Magyar style; one side of the bodice was of folded satin, the other side and sleeve being draped with line Mechlinburg lace, the yoke and undersleeves of tucked chiffon, pearls outlining the yoke and pearl ornaments finishing the bodice back and front. She wore an embroidered tulle veil and orange blossoms, and carried a lovely shower bouquet. Her bridesmaids were Miss Flossie Cox, sister of the bridegroom, and Miss Ruth Reynolds, their dresses being of soft white silk beautifully tucked and inserted with white Valenciennes insertion, and large black hats lined with blue, and wreaths of black and white daisies; they carried lovely mauve and white shower bouquets tied with mauve ribbons. Three tiny little nieces of the bride were also in attendance: Doris Clark, Eileen Gane, and Florence Clark. They looked sweet in little white silk and lace frocks, and white crinoline straw hats trimmed with white ribbon and tiny wreaths of flowers, and they carried baskets of primroses and violets. The best man was Mr. E. A. Cox, brother of the bridegroom, and Mr. A. R. Clark, brother of the bride, was groomsmen. The bridegroom's present to the bride was a gold brooch with a spray of lilies of the valley in pearls; and ’ to the bridesmaids gold crescent brooches with shamrocks set in pearls. (lane, navy blue silk with creme lace trimming, on the bodice, white, boa, brown toque trimmed with pink roses; Mrs. 11. Clark, navy blue tailor-made coat and skirt, white feather boa and large vieux rose straw hat trimmed with roses; Mrs. Barker, black cloth tailor made trimmed with wide silk braid, and black hat •trimmed with black; Mrs. I. T. Garlick, black costume, black and white hat; Mrs. Garlick, nattier blue costume trimmed with silk, hat to match; Mrs. W. Clark, creme doth costume, and amethyst hat with plumes; Miss Gane, green costume, and green toque; Mrs. Priestly, grey costume, white lace fichu and grey hat : Mrs. M. Reynolds, creme serge coat and skirt, black velvet hat trimmed with black wings; Mrs. Huddleston, creme serge frock trimmed with silk, and large, nattier blue hat with a band of Oriental trimming and blue wings.
