Tennis. The Pukekohe Park Lawn Tennis and (•roquet Club held their opening day last Tuesday, the formal ceremony being performed by the Mayor (Mr. Fisch). Other •speeches were made by Mr. 11. Personal. Aliss Cormack, who lias been the guest of Mrs. Fitzlierbert, New Plymouth, has returned to her home in Carterton. Mr. and Mrs. Douglas Adkins, who have .been visiting New Plymouth, have returned to Mt. Eden. Mr. and Mrs. M. Eraser have returned to New Plymouth, after their short but pleasant trip to the Dawson Palls, Mt. Egmont. Mr. Evans (Auckland), is the guest of his brother, Rev. F. G. Evans, New Plymouth. Miss Lucy Skinner has returned to New Plymouth after- her pleasant eighteen uroliths’ trip to the Old Country.

Mr. and Mrs. Leo. Horrocks, who have been visiting Mrs. Quilliam, New Plymouth, have returned to their home in Feilding.

Mrs. B. Dolan, of Napier, has 'been the guest of her sister, Mrs. Percy Lawson, New Plymouth, but has now returned. Miss Inez Kirkby has returned to New Plymouth after being absent for twelve months.

Mr. and Mrs. R. Lusk (Parnell. Auckland), are tile guests of Mrs. AV. D. Wcibster, New Plymouth. Mr. Warne Pearce, of Temuka. is the guest of Mrs. J. B. Ray, New Plymouth.
