December 22. Inter-College Cricket Match. There were a large number of interested spectators on the Collegiate School grounds on Monday, and again Tuesday morning, when the cricket match between Wellington College and the Collegiate School was played. The visiting team were victorious. Late on Monday a race was rowed on the river between crews from the Wellington College and Collegiate School. The local team were victorious. River Picnic. On Wednesday evening a very enjoyable river picnic 1 was given by Mr. B. Anderson and Mr. Preston. Amongst those present were Miss G. Krull, Miss P. Jones, Miss Thompson (Sydney), Miss Ida Stevenson, Miss Brettargh, Miss D. Brettargh, Miss Spenser, Miss W. Anderson, Miss D. Christie, Miss Darley, Messrs. Strouts, Chamberlain, Stevenson,' Brettargh, Anderson, Perston, Fletcher, and others. College Prizegiving. On Tuesday evening the annual prizegiving at the Collegiate School was held. The prizes were presented by Hon. Dr. Findlay. Sir Robert Stout was also present, and made a short speech. Mrs. Dove wore a beautiful charmeuse robe with peacock blue satin opera coat, bordered with wide gold thread embroidery; Mrs. Gordon Williams (Te Aute), pale blue silk with lace; Mrs. Godwin, black silk, with cream laee; Mrs. Crombie, old-rose silk frock, art green charmeuse kimono wrap; Miss Maling, black silk, with berthe of lace; Mrs. Atkinson, black silk, pastel blue cloth opera coat, and rose pink chiffon (shoulder .scarf; Miss Watson (England), black silk robe, with yoke of transparent lace; Mrs. 11.
