Peake, a lovely frock of cameo pink satin charmeuse, trimmed with silver, and shoulder scarf of line lace; Miss Cox, rosewood silk voile with yoke and sleeves of creme tucked net; Mrs Farnall, bodice of creme satin with bretelles of black silk, and black silk skirt; Mrs. Middleton, amethyst chiffon taffeta with creme lace net yoke and bretelles of the same outlined with amethyst silk applique; Mrs. B. Couper, black crepe de

chine over black glace with tucked net yoke and sleeves, pale blue and silver scarf; Mrs. (Dr.) Roberts, black paillette silk evening gown, bodiee having a vest of fine white lace, and white chiffon tucker, and handsome jet trimming; Miso Beale, white silk and lace evening dress; Miss Willis, black silk with point lace berlhe and white net scarf; Mrs.. A. Gibbons, white silk embroidery crepe do chine with a touch of black about it, and very pretty evening coat of palest pink pastel cloth trimmed with Oriental trimming; Miss Halley, black satin charmeuee made en Princess, bodice having a touch of gold and creme net yoke and sleeves; Miss Middleton, creme mull muslin. made semi-Empire and trimmed with silk insertion; Mrs Gwynneth, silver grey paillette silk trimmed with silver .tissue, vest and sleeves of tucked white net, waistcoat and revers of black brocade; Miss Brooks, pale pink chiffon taffeta made semi-Empire, bodice and sleeves being trimmed with silver sequin, white net; Miss Clark, white silk trimmed with lace. The men were Messrs Nicoll, Peake "(3), Dyer, Willis, Cox, Middleton, MoBride. Wells, F. Reynolds, Hindmarsh, Fa mail, Scott Dr. Roberts.

At the RinkLast Monday another private evening was held at the rink in the Alexandra Hall, and proved most enjoyable. It was decided to hold a fancy dress party four weeks from last Monday, which is being looked forward to by the rinkers. Some of those present on Monday night were: Mr. and Mrs. N. Banks, Mr. and Mrs. S. Hanks, Mr. and Mrs. Nicoll, Mr. and Mrs. L. Peake, Mr. and Mrs. C. Peake, Mr. and Mrs. 11. Worsp, Mrs. A. B.
