June 25. Babies' Birthday Party. A babies’ birthday party was given by Mrs. C. C. Buckland on Monday afternoon for her two-year-old son. It was a pretty sight to see all the mites playing games and enjoying themselves generally. Mrs. Buckland was wearing a navy blue silk with creme lace yoke and sleeves outlined with pale green velvet; Mrs. F. Ross, wearing brown eoat and skirt and brown hat, trimmed with mauve, and her two children. After the Wedding. On Thursday evening, after the wedding of Miss Payze and Mr Sefton Banks, Mrs. Banks entertained a few young people out at “Gwynnelands” at an impromptu dance. One of the drawingrooms was cleared for daneing, and the other was used for the lookers - on; supper was laid in the dining-room.
