FEILDING.

February 14. Motor Gymkhana. On Saturday, sth February, the Feilding Motor Association held a gymkhana on the racecourse. It was a beautiful day. The grounds looked very picturesque with the many motor ears, and the ladies in their pretty frocks. There were competitions during the afternoon, and the potato race caused a great deal of amusement. A dainty afternoon tea was dispensed. Gorton, pale blue silk Empire dress with white trimming, black hat; Miss Ines Jones, heliotrope drees, white dust coat, black and white hat; Mrs. Mostyn Jones, Empire dress of purple silk, trimmed with passementerie and buttons, hat to match; Mrs. Beedie (Kimbolton), white muslin, black hat with pink roses; Mrs Mcßeth (Kimbolton), black and white silk coat and skirt, black hat; Miss Bruce, white linen coat and skirt, trimmed with blaek, blaok hat with white roses; Miss Mcßeth (Kimbolton), white muslin frock, white hat with tiny flowers. Personal, Mrs. Woolliuns and family have gone to the seaside for a month. Miss Walker is staying with friends at Plinimerton. Miss Laura Haybittle has gone to Wanganui for a holiday. Miss Nellie Walpole lias gone to Plimmerton for a few days. Mrs. Luxmoore is staying with Mrs. Woollams in Plimmerton. Mrs. Carty is in Feilding at present. Mrs. Levett (Kiwitea) is in Wellington.

Mrs. MeAUum and Mrs. Glasgow have gone to Titahi Bay for a fortnight.
