Dear Bee, October 30. THE HIGH SCHOOL ANNUAL SPORTS took place last Saturday afternoon in toe presence of a large gathering of friends and relatives of the pupils. Miss Reed (Wellington), the Misses Wilson (Bulls), Mrs Homan, Mrs Harold Cooper, Mrs Tripe, Mrs E. W. Hitchings (Feilding), Mrs F. S. Mcßae, Mrs W. L. Fitzherbert, Mrs C. E. Waldegrave aud Miss Waldegrave, Mrs and Miss Warburton, the Misses McLennan. Mrs and Miss Hewitt. Mrs F. Hewitt, and many others. PERSONAL NOTES. Miss Margaret Waldegrave has gone to Napier for a short stay. Dr. and Mrs Peach were visitors to Wellington for a few days last week. Mrs Bailey (Wanganui) and Mrs Wallace (New Plymouth) are the guests of Mrs A. Rennell. Mrs Mason (Wanganui) is the guest of Mrs McKnight. Mrs F. Leckie, of Wellington, who has been spending some weeks with her mother, Mrs Taplin, Palmerston, has returned home. Mrs Warburton lias returned from a trip to Dunedin and Wellington. VIOLET.
