There was quite a happy little meeting on the Bluli Hill ( roquet Chib on Saturday last to bid farewell to Mrs. Bull, who. together with Mr. Bull, is leaving shortly for England, where they intend spending the next two years. Before the close of the afternoon Mrs. Stedman, the president, made a presentation to Mrs. Bull on behalf of the members. of a handsome leather bag, and took the opportunity of wishing her a very pleasant trip to the Ohl Country. On the sariie afternoon Mr. Bull was presented with a gold pendant, -suitably inj-.critied b\ the members <»f the Bluli Hjii Bow ling ( lub. •PERSONAL ITEMS. Mr. and Miss Humphries have left Napili foi Auckland, where they intend catching the Vancouver steamere.il route fui England. They return to the colony in December. Mi Humphries, of Wellington, is on a brief holiday \ isit to Hawke’s Bay. Mr and Mrs. Oswald Nelson, of Hast ings. have returned to their home after spending some weeks in Wellington. All .
