The attendance was fair, and the track in good order, though on the hard side. The sum of £4359 was passed through the machines, as against £5384 10/ last year. The shortage was more than made up by the fees received from bookmakers. Iligh-weight Handicap.—Devonia, 9.11, 1; Beck well, 9.5, 2; Cavatina. 9.3, 3. All started. Won by a length. Time, 1.46 3-5.
