SHEARING TIME. Our N.Z. shearers will smile at the leisurely luxurious fashion in which the operation is carried out. It is the same in Yorkshire, where there is also a vast amount of eating and drinking at intervals of, say, every two hours or so. No extra hands are engaged as a rule, all neighbouring farmers attending and taking their hands round in due sequence, and receiving help in their turn.
