Last Wednesday evening a BRIDGE PARTY was held in the Kia Ora Tea Rooms in aid of the Recreation Grounds Sports Committee Fund, ami that game being still “ever green" in popularity, the roam was crowded, much to the delight of the Aliases. M. and If. Humphries, who headed the management of the affair, and to whose stall the funds arc to assist. There were thirteen tables, and the first prize was won by Miss Amy Kemp. Airs.
