Dear Bee, October 21. The pupils of the Napier High School were favoured with delightful weather for their ANNUAL SPORTS, which took place on Tuesday afternoon at the Recreation Ground. A large number of visitors were present. Afternoon tea was given by Airs Polsoin. Amongst, the onlookers were Lady Campbell, who was wearing a smart costume of black voile, white silk vest, black toque with ospreys; Mrs Humphries was also in black; Aliss Humphries, cream eloth costume with gold buttons, white felt hat with heliotrope flowers; Aliss Ethel Humphries, pale green linen, the bodice trimmed with white lace insertion, white chip hat; Airs Pharazyn, slate grey cloth, grey feather boa, black velvet bonnet with phones; Airs Stedman wore a cherrycoloured gown, embroidered with gold; Mr* Hiddell, black voile, large and ba-
