Dear Bee, June 28. THE NORTH WAIRARAPA COUNTY BALL, which was held in the Drill Hall on Friday, was a brilliant success. There were visitors from all parts of the Valley. The hall was beautifully decorated with flags, mirrors, curtains, and evergreen, and the music, supplied by a Wellington band, was good. A covered-in passage way led from the Drill Hall to the Temperance Hall, in which a delicious supper was daintily set out. I noticed Mrs H. H. Beetham in a handsome black silk ; Mrs Izard, lovely yellow silk with chiffon and violets ; Mrs F. Moore, brown brocade ; Mrs N. Beetham, white silk ; Mrs Mcßae, pink silk ; Mrs W. Wardell, a very pretty figured white silk ; Mrs W. Barton wore an exceedingly handsome brown and pink brocade trimmed with pink chiffon and passementerie; Mrs Ewart, he.iotrope silk with mauve trimming ; Mrs Grace, black silk ; Mrs Elgar, cream spotted chiffon ; Mrs Matthews, black silk ; Mrs Wyett, black velvet with black lace and white satin trimming; Mrs Kebbell, white figured silk ; Mrs Broadbent, black merveilleux with black lace trimming ; Mrs Chalmers, pretty white silk ; Mrs Ward, old gold silk with black trimmings ; Mrs Payton, black silk trimmed with white satin ; Mrs Armstrong, a very pretty pale green figured silk ; Mrs Boddington. black silk; Mrs W.
