Mr Goring was Mr-* Walter Johnston’s father, and has a great many relations in Wellington, all of whom, of course, are in mourning, including Mr and .Mrs Barry Goring, who had only just returned from their honeymoon when the sad event took place. OUR PEOPLE. Lady Stout is still in Wellington, but will return to Dunedin for Christmas. The Premier and Miss Seddon have left for Kumera. there to spend Christmas. The Premier will celebrate his silver wedding on the 13th January, and will remain at Kumera for that. Miss Ida Johnston has returned from Christchurch, where she spent a pleasant time with the Hon. Mrs Paiker.
