(sarcastically) : ‘ Hedon’tseem to have much success.’ Mrs H. (as she slams the door in his face) : 1 Seems to have as much success as you have.’ An Englishman once boasted that he had been mistaken for a member of the Royal Family. A Scotchman hearing, replied that he had been addressed as the Duke of Argyll. Whereupon an Irishman said that he hail been taken for a far greater person than either, for, as he was walking along the street one day, a friend came up to him exclaiming ‘ Holy Moses ! is that you ?’
