No. 1 is a very smart little double-breasted eoat, and made in fine white French serge, with a turn-down collar bordered with white yak lace. The pretty strap trimmings on the hips and cuff’s must be noted as a novel feature of this little coat. The pretty hat has a brim formed of very fully-pleated white surah, and is trimmed on the crown with large bows of white ribbon. No. 2 is a beautiful little out-door costume, consisting of a pelisse and bonnet in a warm and cosy astrachan cloth, in a delicate shade of cream. The coat is made with a fully pleated skirt, fastened with large mother-of-pearl buttons, a turndown collar, and turned back cuffs, the effect of which is very quaint and pretty. This smart coat can be obtained in white cloth and in a delicate shade of salmon-pink, as well as in cream. The granny bonnet is made of the same material as the coat, with frills of fully-pleated cream lace in front, ribbon bows upon the crown and ribbon strings. No. 3 represents a very pretty home or juvenile party dress for quite a little child. It is made in the finest cream cashmere, very’ daintily embroidered in cream silk in a fancy stitch, and trimmed with a multiplicity of tiny tucks. The skirt is finished with a hem of silk embroidery, the same embroidery being also used for the epaulettes, which ornament the fully tucked sleeves. No 4 is a charming winter pelisse of thick white lambs’ w 00l made with a deep cape, bordered with a very handsome trimming of white Angora fur, and tied at the throat with long bows and ends of white ribbon. The hat is made in the same material, and is caught up on one side and trimmed with bows of white ribbon, arranged in a very smart and novel style. No. 5 is an exceedingly smart pelisse of cream cashmere trimmed with an applique of A andyke cream silk embroidery, and made to button down the centre under a cape trimmed with embroidery to correspond. The hat is arranged with a brim formed of three rows of fully pleated cream silk, and a crown trimmed with full bows of cream ribbon. The strings are also of cream ribbon.
